Matcha Latte

Whether you prefer sweetened, unsweetened, dairy milk, or non dairy milk, Aiya's Matcha makes the perfect warming Matcha Latte! These recipes are very easy to make, completely fulfilling, and perfect for a cold winter day.

[Makes 8 oz Serving]

Ingredients:

Pre-Sweetened Macha Latte:

Aiya Matcha Zen Cafe Blend
Milk (Dairy or Non Dairy)

Unsweetened Matcha Latte:

Aiya Cooking Grade Matcha
Milk (Dairy or Non Dairy)
Sweetener (if desired)

 

 

 

 

 

Note: You can make flavor variations of the sweetened recipe with our Aiya Black Tea Zen Café Blend (1kg bag) or Aiya Rooibos Zen Café Blend (1kg bag) products.  Simply use the preferred flavor instead of Matcha.

Pre-Sweetened Matcha Latte:

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of Aiya Matcha Zen Cafe Blend (or 1 Matcha Zen Cafe Blend Stick) to 4 to 5 ounces of cold milk (either dairy or non dairy).
  2. Steam together until the desired temperature - the drink should be hot to the touch but not too hot that you burn yourself.
  3. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
Unsweetened Matcha Latte:
  1. Sift 1/2 teaspoon of Aiya Cooking Grade Matcha into an 8 ounce latte mug.
  2. Mix a small amount of hot water (approximately 1 tablespoon) into the Matcha using the back of a spoon or a Matcha whisk, making a smooth paste without any lumps.
  3. Steam 4-5 ounces of cold milk (either dairy or non dairy) until the desired temperature, add to Matcha, and serve.
  4. Add sweetener to taste (if desired).
  5. Sip and enjoy!
