
Matcha Hot Chocolate
Warming and slightly decadent, our Matcha hot chocolate is the perfect sweet treat for a cold night. Sip it slowly to enjoy the creamy milky flavor, sweet chocolate body, and delicate Matcha finish.

[Ingredients]
Aiya Cooking Grade Matcha....................... 1 ~ 2 tsp
Milk.................................................................... 2 cups
White Chocolate............................................. 4 oz
Whipped Cream............................................. optional
Tip: Any milk you like is fine for this recipe. The original was made with 2% dairy milk but you can use any non dairy alternative or even half and half depending on taste.
Tip: For the smoothest, richest hot chocolate, chop the white chocolate as fine as possible. The finer the chopped chocolate, the smoother your hot chocolate.
[Directions]
- Finely chop the chocolate and set it aside.
- In a pot, heat the milk, stirring often, until it is hot and steaming.
- Take the milk off the heat and sift the Matcha into it. (Add 1 tsp of Matcha for a lighter tea flavor and 2 tsps for a deeper tea flavor.)
- Add the chopped white chocolate and stir together until smooth and the chocolate is fully melted.
- Pour into mugs, top with whipped cream (optional), and enjoy!
