Making Matcha Recipes: Part IV – Matcha Chocolate Chip Rice Cookies
Daniel’s Comments:
“Among all the Matcha recipes we share, having the chance to make this one holds particularly special meaning for me; for longer than I can remember I have been making chocolate chip cookies with my mother. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of making chocolate chip cookies for any and every occasion and event. While I am not as seasoned as my mom, I do consider myself an experienced cookie maker. Being able to merge such a classic recipe with Matcha was exciting for me and the only thing I was concerned about was if a Matcha version would hold up to something so familiar to me.
After making the recipe I can safely say that this is in contention for my favorite recipe on the entire website. The Matcha compliments the flavor one would expect out of a fresh, homemade chocolate chip cookie and even enhances and harmonizes with it. There really is no way to properly put how good this recipe is into words – I recommend making it and seeing for yourself.
I have in fact made this recipe three times in the past two weeks; the cookies seems to disappear as soon as they are cooled!”
