Last weekend, the Aiya team flew out to beautiful San Francisco, CA for the annual Winter Fancy Food Show.  It was held at the Moscone Convention Center, which was only a short ten minute walk from our hotel.  Instead of renting a car this time, we walked to the show every day, taking in the crisp, chilly air and gorgeous scenery. With perfect weather and an amazing turn out, this show was definitely a great way to start out our exhibition at the 2015 trade shows.

During the beginning of October, the Aiya team flew out to the fabulous Las Vegas to exhibit at the annual Supply Side West show. This show was held at Mandalay Bay, and was a rather short trip consisting of only two days instead of our usual three.

Two weekends ago, Aiya Sales Representative, Michael, flew to Toronto for the 2014 Canadian Coffee & Tea Show. The show took place from September 28 to 29 and was hosted at the International Centre. It had everything from a barista competition to teas from all over the world. Once again, Aiya was showing support for our Canadian partner, Gerhards Importers, at their booth.

Just this past week, the Aiya America team flew out to Baltimore, Maryland for our first ever Natural Products Expo East held at the Baltimore Convention Center. It was a very exhilarating trip for us because although we have been exhibiting at the Natural Products Expo West for the past couple of years in Anaheim, this was our very first time at the NPEE.

On August 16 and 17, the Aiya team visited our own backyard! No, not the parking lot, but the Los Angeles International Tea Festival! It was our third year in a row participating as a Gold Sponsor. The festival was held at its usual location, the Japanese American National Museum (JANM) in the Little Tokyo area of Downtown Los Angeles.  However, this year was a little different because the event was held during Nisei Week, an annual festival celebrating Japanese-American culture.

The Aiya America team traveled out to New York City at the tail-end of this past June. We did not go there for leisure, as some of you might be thinking, but to exhibit at the Summer Fancy Food Show. It was our first time doing the summer version of the Fancy Food Show, so it was an exciting and interesting venture. We have been doing the Winter Fancy Food Show the past couple years, which is held in San Francisco. Since we have been seeing the national rise in popularity of Matcha, especially on the East Coast, we decided to fly out to the “City That Never Sleeps” for our inaugural exhibition.

IFT Show 2014 Recap

Jul 15, 2014

A couple of weeks back, we exhibited at the 2014 IFT Show. This year it was held in New Orleans, or as some like to refer as the ‘Big Easy.’ The previous IFT Show was held in Chicago and the year before that, it was in Las Vegas. So the show has been in different locations the past few times, possibly to keep it fresh and exciting. The IFT Show is an ingredient show, so it would be fitting that Aiya would be exhibiting there. Our main business has always been providing Matcha green tea as an ingredient, from which companies can create their own exciting and delicious Matcha green tea flavored products.

A couple weeks ago we exhibited and attended the World Tea Expo which was held in Long Beach, CA. In years past the World Tea Expo has always been held in Las Vegas but they decided to switch things up and start rotating the World Tea Expo around different cities. This was great for us as we are local to Long Beach.
