The Natural Product Expo West and Engredea Show took place at the Anaheim Convention Center over this past weekend. This show is one of the biggest consumer shows every year. It is always busy with a lot of foot traffic as people come to check out all the natural products that are out on the market whether it be food, beverages, makeup, hair products, etc.

Last week a couple members of the Aiya team ventured up north to help exhibit with our Canadian Importer Gerhard's at the CRFA Toronto show. The CRFA Show is the biggest restaurant show in Canada. This show is great for us to help us penetrate the food service and restaurant market by introducing Matcha green tea to them.

This past weekend was the 2nd annual LA Green Festival held at the LA Convention Center. The Green Festival is a consumer show that is open to the public and it was Aiya America's first time exhibiting at the festival. The exhibitor area was held at the Kentia Hall. The amount of exhibitors was a decent size as well. We at Aiya had not really heard of the Green Festival before so we were not sure what kind of turnout to expect in all honesty.

Supply Side West 2012

Last week the Aiya America team exhibited at the Supply Side West Expo that took place at the Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas. The exhibition hall was open for two days from November 7th-8th. For those unfamiliar with this trade show, it is a ingredient trade show. This show is pretty big with hundreds, maybe thousands of companies exhibiting. Many of these companies are also in the nutraceutical business, meaning that they are either manufacturers or ingredient suppliers to make healthy products such as; supplements, drinks, pills, etc.

Over the weekend the Japanese American National Museum located in Little Tokyo in Downtown LA hosted the LA International Tea Festival. The event itself was a 2-day event open to the public for a small registration fee. The event resembled that of a tea trade show, but instead of only businesses being able to attend, this show was open to the public. The event had an area where various companies showcased their products, sampled their teas, and even sold some of products to attendees. Additionally the show had some free presentations along with more in-depth lectures to further  people's understanding about tea or specific tea related subjects.

This week in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Convention Center was the World Tea East convention, which has been going on 2 years running now. This show was a little more special then others because 2 members of the Aiya America Team were asked to be guest speakers during the festivities.

Seattle Coffee Fest

This past weekend was Coffee Fest in Seattle. Three members of the Aiya Team flew up to exhibit at the event. This was the first time that any of the three of us attended Coffee Fest so we did not know what to expect in term of size and attendance. Being that it was Seattle we figured they took Coffee pretty serious since this is the home of Starbucks.
