The ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) test has recently become popular for measuring the amount of antioxidants a product contains. However, many people question whether the body actually absorbs all of the antioxidants or not.

To address that question, CAP-e, a new test administered by NIS Labs, examines if the body actually absorbs the antioxidants and protects our red blood cells from oxidation. We sent samples of our Ceremonial Matcha to the NIS Labs to perform the CAP-e test.

The results are very favorable. It showed that our Ceremonial Matcha has great bioavailability, which means that our bodies are able to absorb the antioxidants. It also shows that our Ceremonial Matcha contains 105 times more antioxidants than blueberries and is 56% more efficient.
