Matcha Cream Soda

Remember trying your first cream soda? This refreshing sparking Matcha soda topped with a velvety, sweet cream, will take you on a stroll down memory lane.

Makes 1 serving.

    • 1 tsp Aiya Culinary Grade Matcha
    • 1 Tsp granulated cane sugar
    • ¼ cup hot water
    • ½ cup crushed ice cubes
    • ½ cup natural sparkling water
    • 2 Tbsp heavy whipping cream
    • cherries for garnish (optional)


    1. Add Matcha powder, sugar, and hot water to a bowl and whisk with a bamboo chasen until frothy and sugar has dissolved. It will be quite thick.
    2. Pour the thick Matcha into a tall glass. Add crushed ice, and pour sparkling water over the ice.
    3. Top with whipped cream and garnish with a cherry. Stir with a straw and enjoy immediately.
